Two nights of audiovisual art and electronic music collide in Double Vision. Local and international heavyweights Max Cooper and The Kite String Tangle go back-to-back at Brisbane Powerhouse on Thursday 31 August and Friday 01 September.
Award-winning electronic producer/vocalist/instrumentalist The Kite String Tangle (aka Danny Harley), collaborating with leading audiovisual artists (including Vienna’s MONOCOLOR), brings the world-premiere of his new show to Brisbane Powerhouse.
Combining stunning visuals with an intricate lighting show, Harley will debut new material from his forthcoming release along with much loved works from his expansive catalogue in his most ambitious live production to date.
This audio-visual performance as part of Double Vision promises to be Harley’s most progressive and spectacular show yet.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Danny Harley aka The Kite String Tangle is a prolific producer, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and label owner hailing from Brisbane.
With a string of Gold certified releases and awards under his belt, Harley returned with blistering new tracks ‘Fist Fight’ and ‘Euclidean’ in 2023. Combining his intricate beat-work with layers of dark synths, the new works immediately resonated with electronic music fans and artists alike, with support from house/techno figures including Jonas Saalbach, Coeus and Ae:ther.
Harley has graced stages across North America, UK/Europe, South America, New Zealand, as well as numerous sold out tours in his home country. Those lucky enough to catch his sold out collaboration shows with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and the Australasian Dance Collective, can attest to Harley’s impressive ability to create an innovative and carefully crafted live experience.
