Moderated by Damien Woolnough and inspired by of the release of the fashion film of the year, The Devil Wears Prada 2, this conversation will explore the landscape of today’s taste makers and gatekeepers, and delve into the new wave of cultural influence, the media power shift, and the modern business of fashion.

Grace Kelly is the founder of Joaen and recent winner of the National Designer Award, which included a development package with retailer David Jones and positions Kelly as a leading emerging Australian designer.

Courtney Michael is the head buyer at iconic Brisbane retailer Camargue, leading the style curation for Brisbane’s more than 40-year-old high end retail institution. A regular at Paris Fashion Week, Courtney knows what’s here, what’s coming and what you should have on your playlist.

Michael Crawley founded Valley Eyewear with wife Tenielle in 2011 and the paid have grown one of the world’s biggest sunglass and eyewear brands.

Damien Woolnough is the fashion editor at the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age newspapers. Having worked as the first editor of Vogue.com.au, fashion editor of The Australian and written for GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, In Style and the Australian Women’s Weekly he has shared a love of style in newspapers, print, television and online for more than two decades.
