FRANJO à Brisbane
ABOUT THE SHOW
PLEASE NOTE – This show will be performed in French.
After the huge success of stand-up comedian Paul Taylor’s Australian tour last year, Alliance Française de Brisbane comes back with another treat, inviting Franjo, a rising star in the Parisian comedy clubs. If you are a French speaker, don’t miss this unique show 100% en français !
One hour to talk about himself, his ex, Melun, and other society topics with a ridiculous load of irony. One hour that often goes too quickly: you won’t be disappointed. You probably won’t come out of this show any more mature, but definitely happier.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born François-Joseph Reno on March 12, 1990, the artist developed a passion for stand-up comedy in adulthood. In 2015, he took to the stage for the first time at the Théâtre du Gymnase, before performing at various venues across Paris.
Although he is active on social media like many comedians, he confesses that his true love remains live performance: “On stage, there are real people, and there can be real awkward moments. There are more emotions. It’s real vulnerability.”
With a bold sense of humor, Franjo tackles absolutely every topic on stage without holding back or fearing to offend anyone. While his videos often address everyday themes or professions like cashier, police officer, or employment advisor, he shares on stage his life, the world, and his greatest romantic moments.
