ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Ash Williams is a comedian, podcaster, actor, radio host and writer, known for sharp storytelling and ability to turn everyday life into comedy. He has performed stand-up around the world, including at the world-famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles, and has appeared on hit US television shows. In Australia, he has featured on The Today Show, Sunrise, The Morning Show, The Project, Studio 10, Neighbours, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, and Shaun Micallef’s Eve of Destruction. He has been heard on Nova FM, Fox FM, 2Day FM, KIIS FM and Triple M. Ash hosts the cult-favourite The Ash Williams Show, is a regular on Team Effort with Ed Kavalee and Tony Martin, The ChrissieCast with Chrissie Swan, and co-hosts Get a Grip tennis podcast with David Zita. He writes a regular column for Australian Life Magazine and splits his time between Melbourne and the Gold Coast.
Georgie Tunny started her journalism career with the ABC, where she was part of the News Breakfast presenting team for four years. She took on roles as sport presenter, weather presenter and as co-host during the 2020 bushfire emergency coverage and throughout the Covid pandemic. In 2022 she began a full-time role at Network 10 as journalist and host for The Project. Georgie now hosts a weekly sport podcast with Abbey Gelmi, Two Good Sports, a Taylor Swift-inspired podcast, Ready For It, and Georgie and her partner, Rob Mills, were runners-up in The Amazing Race Australia Celebrity Edition 2025. In 2026, Georgie will lead Network 10’s weekend news bulletin.
Jordan Prosser is an author and screenwriter based in Naarm/Melbourne. He won the Peter Carey Short Story Award in 2022. His debut novel, Big Time, was shortlisted for the Matt Richell Award for New Writer of the Year at the ABIAs and the Aurealis Award for Best Science Fiction Novel.
Stavroula Adameitis aka Frida Las Vegas is an Australian artist, designer and cultural futurist obsessed with all things kitsch. Her work sits gleefully at the intersection of popular culture, nostalgia, maximalism and futures-thinking.
Darby Jones is the Editorial Assistant at Griffith Review and a bookseller at Cursive Knives. He is an alumnus of the black&write! Indigenous Writing and Editing Project and the Open Book Internship and has dedicated his career to diversifying the publishing industry.
