ABOUT THE SHOW

Jake Howie has always been one of the girls – from Ginger in Spice Girl routines to sympathising with Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction, even though she boiled that bunny out of spite. But what does it mean to be one of the girls when you’re a boy? Jake uncovers that being one of the boys or girls is about anything but gender.

Jake has appeared everywhere from Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras’ Laugh Out Proud showcase and SBS TV’s Insight to popular podcasts including The Chaser Report and co-hosting Just The Gist.

His Australian solo debut topped TimeOut Sydney’s ‘Best Things To Do‘ at Sydney Comedy Festival, and global media juggernaut LADbible publishing a feature article about the award-winning Kiwi comedian. Don’t miss the rising star with his new show!

A love story about the girls who raised him, the girls who befriended him, and the girl within.

“A true comedy star. Jake Howie shines bright with killer jokes and a fresh new perspective” – Express (NZ)
