Kathy Lette
ABOUT THE SHOW
Author, writer and comedian Kathy Lette is perhaps most famous for her novel Puberty Blues which, in recent years, has been made into both a movie and a TV series. Those not familiar with her other work will become enlightened as Kathy brings her infectious energy to Brisbane Powerhouse as she discusses her latest literary offering, ‘The Revenge Club’.
A subversive, irreverent revenge romp from the wickedly witty mind you’ve come to know and love so well.
Confronted by a society that believes they’re all past their amuse-by dates, four female friends approaching their 60s, who are slowly finding the world is casting them obsolete, vow to face their non-entity crises together. Each has been trampled on by men, so as the saying goes if you can’t beat them, join them.
Let the revenge games begin!
