Miss First Nation
ABOUT THE SHOW
The fiercest Blak drag pageant in the country is back! Since 2017, Miss First Nation has been the stage for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander drag excellence. After an all-stars edition at Sydney WorldPride 2023, we’re returning — bigger, bolder, and more fabulous than ever.
Calling all Blak drag artists: whether you’re a seasoned queen or just starting your journey, this is YOUR moment. Bring your style, your story, your culture, and your power to the stage. This isn’t just a pageant — it’s a celebration of community, connection, and unfiltered creativity.
Think you’ve got what it takes? Expressions of Interest are NOW OPEN. If you’re 18+ and proudly Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, step up and show out.
Get ready to claim your place in history.
This is Blak excellence. This is Miss First Nation.
This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body.
