Charlie Jane Anders is the award-winning, bestselling author of Lessons in Magic and Disaster. Her other books include All the Birds in the Sky, The City in the Middle of the Night, and Never Say You Can’t Survive: How to Get Through Hard Times by Making Up Stories.
John Morrissey is a Melbourne writer of Kalkadoon descent. His first collection of stories, Firelight, was published in 2023. Bird Deity is his first novel.
Cameron Sullivan was born in Perth, Western Australia. He grew up with the dark fantasy and horror icons of the 80s and went on to study classics, languages and creative writing at the University of Western Australia. The Red Winter is his first novel.
Gary Budden is a writer, editor and co-founder of award-winning independent publisher, Influx Press. He is the author of London Incognita (Dead Ink, 2020), Hollow Shores (Dead Ink, 2017), and the Shirley Jackson Award-Shortlisted Judderman (Eden Book Society, 2018). He currently lives in Brisbane, Australia.
