Freya Marske writes queer SFF and romance. Her debut novel A Marvellous Light became an international bestseller and won the RNA Award for Romantic Fantasy. She is also an Aurealis Award winner and has been nominated for two Hugo Awards. She lives in Canberra.
Christy Anne Jones is an author, illustrator, book reviewer and maker of creative things. Her short stories and travel writing have been published across Australia and Japan. She lives in leafy Adelaide, on Kaurna [GAR-na] Land, with her partner and puppy. Theodora’s Tea Shop is her debut novel.
Born into a family of book collectors, Lily Crozier has been a bookseller, BookToker, book publicist and marketer. She has a Bachelor in Asia-Pacific Studies and a Master in Publishing and studied in Australia and Japan. Vow of Eternal Night is her first novel.
John Morrissey is a Melbourne writer of Kalkadoon descent. His first collection of stories, Firelight, was published in 2023. Bird Deity is his first novel.
January Gilchrist holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts, majoring in Literature and Performing Arts, and was longlisted for the 2019 Richell Prize. Balancing her time between writing, running a Pilates studio, and raising two sons, January draws on her varied life experiences to create complex, nuanced characters. Fascinated by puzzles, especially the mysteries of human behaviour, January explores the stories we tell, the secrets we keep, and the truths we hide – even from ourselves.
