ABOUT THE SHOW
SATELLITE MILE launch the debut album – The Water’s Edge. Ben Love and Geoff Green (george) present tracks from the album plus additional selections in the intimate surrounds of the Underground Theatre.
With special guest Sarah Stockholm.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
SATELLITE MILE emerges as a sonic, genre-bending dreamscape imagined into existence by Ben Love on Australia’s Gold Coast. Drawing inspiration from luminaries Depeche Mode, Peter Gabriel and Massive Attack, soundscapes unfold in multi-faceted compositions produced by Love and Peet Gardner at Brisbane’s So Soap Studios and mixed by the legendary Paul Gomersall (Kate Bush, Genesis, George Michael).
Debut album, The Waters Edge blends atmospheric guitar motifs, analogue synthesizers and shifting time signatures with haunting vocals, weaving a non-linear journey through time and space.
The tracks Recurring Dreams and The Water’s Edge (Radio Edit) are out now on all digital platforms, with their accompanying video clips on YouTube. The full album releases Thursday 24 July.
