ABOUT THE SHOW

Sofie won Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Festival in 2015 and she thinks you all stopped talking about it too soon. Remember TV? Yeah, she did that too. You may know her from that, but it’s more likely you know her from the internet, where she’s been both funny and angry at times.

Sofie is from Denmark, but learned English at the age of 4, just so she could go to Australia in 2026 and do stand-up.

Despite her excellent foresight, she never saw it coming that the fascists would be taking over. (Otherwise, she would have learned Russian, am I right?) Sofie has always tried to do the right thing, but now she has to ask herself: Did she do the right thing? And what will she say, with her last remaining freedom of speech? It better be good. She better be good.
