ABOUT THE ARTIST

Liverpool-born Sophie McCartney is a 30-something comedian, performer, podcaster and double Sunday Times Number One bestselling author.

She won the ‘Funny Women Award’ for ‘Best Comedy Series’ as voted for by the British public in 2020, has been shortlisted for a British Book Award and the prestigious Everyman Bollinger Wodehouse prize for her debut novel, Mother Hens.

In 2023, Sophie announced her first UK stand-up comedy tour which sold out in less than 24 hours, making it the fastest selling debut tour for a female comedian…ever. McCartney announced her first tour with 15 UK dates back in March 2023, but after the extraordinary demand for tickets, the tour has been extended from 15 dates to 67 dates running into 2024 including Australia and New Zealand.

If selling out tours and books wasn’t enough, Sophie recently launched a brand-new podcast much to the delight of her followers!
