ABOUT THE ARTIST
MND Queensland is a leading Queensland-based charity wholly dedicated to supporting individuals living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), as well as their families and carers. We provide compassionate, practical and expert support through a wide range of services — from advisory and allied health services to assistive technology and emotional wellbeing programs.
Our work is primarily funded by the community, as we do not receive ongoing state government funding. This means many Queenslanders with MND, especially those who are ineligible for the NDIS, rely on our services to maintain their quality of life and independence.
MND Queensland provides essential support including equipment such as wheelchairs, hoists and communication devices; a voice banking program to help preserve speech and identity; regular support group meetings across the state; MND Advisory Services; allied health; and psychology services. We are committed to ensuring that no Queenslander faces MND alone.
