Story Seekers

There are stories hidden beneath Brisbane Powerhouse. Can you help find them?

Once, Brisbane Powerhouse was filled with machines that generated energy for the city. Today, it hums with a different kind of power – ideas, imagination and stories.

In Story Seekers, children and their grown-ups are invited into a hidden world where stories are waiting to be found, repaired and brought to life.

Become an apprentice story mechanic, explore curious machines and mysterious drawers, hunt for scattered story fragments and discover what happens when you put them back together. Then, turn your imagination into energy. Create new ideas, send them through the machinery and watch as new stories begin to take shape.

Inspired by the remarkable transformation of Brisbane Powerhouse, Story Seekers is an immersive, interactive adventure where children don’t just discover stories – they become part of creating them.
