Jacob K Gallagher is a writer of speculative fiction, fantasy and science fiction, and sometimes he tries poetry. Jacob is a Kamilaroi man from Gunnedah, who grew up in Dubbo, and finally moved to Canberra for Uni, where he has lived since.
Georgia Harper is a fiction author and psychologist who has worked with both violent offenders and victim-survivors. Her first thriller, What I Would Do to You, won the 2025 Davitt Award for Best Crime Debut. Her second, Dove, was published by Penguin this year.
Candice Fox is the New York Times bestselling author of twenty crime novels and the winner of three prestigious Ned Kelly Awards. Candice’s novels have been adapted for television. She is an avid animal rescuer who lives in Sydney.
Laura McCluskey is a writer, producer and actor. She is a co-founder of Sybilline Films and Three Fates Theatre Company, and has performed across theatre, film and television. Her debut novel, The Wolf Tree, the first in a series featuring Scottish detectives George Lennox and Richie Stewart.
Ian Kemish AM is a former Australian diplomat. His first book, The Consul, offered a personal perspective on Australia’s foreign affairs challenges over 20 years. Two Islands, his first work of fiction, draws on his diplomatic work in the Balkans in the 1990s and his strong family links to Scotland.
