GENERATOR GRANTS TO SUPPORT LOCAL CREATORS

If there’s one thing we’ve learned since we closed our doors in March, it’s that the essence of Brisbane Powerhouse isn’t in our bricks and mortar, it’s in our artists and our audiences.

As we watch our beloved creative sector suffer, artists are seeing their work and income disappear.

With this in mind, we’re excited to announce the inaugural Brisbane Powerhouse Generator Grants to support local creators to have the thinking time to develop new works, which one day may be presented on our stages.

Congratulations to our four grant recipients, Alinta McGrady, Lucas Stibbard, Natalie Bochenski and Natano Fa’anana.

This is just one way that the Brisbane Powerhouse Foundation supports local artists and our community.
