REVEL WITH US AT BRISBANE COMEDY FESTIVAL 2023.

Brisbane Comedy Festival is thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with Revel Brewing Co. and to celebrate, they’re giving you a chance to win free beer for a year! 

 Comedy devotees can whoop it up at the all-new Revel Bar at the Brisbane Powerhouse Plaza with a Revel Brewing Co. beer in hand and a bite to eat from a selection of great food trucks before or after their show. 

Revel Brewing Co. will serve a specially hand-crafted Laughing Lager sure to get the chuckles started. The limited-release lager, only available during the Festival, can be found on tap at the Revel Bar and Brisbane Comedy Festival hubs, The Tivoli and The Fortitude Music Hall. 

Brisbane Comedy Festival Director Phoebe Meredith said she was overjoyed to welcome the Brisbane-based brewery onboard for the first time in 2023. 

 “Revel means ‘to enjoy oneself in a lively and noisy way, especially with drinking and dancing’. That alignment is spot on for the Festival! We also see it as a great opportunity to showcase a Brisbane brand through a well-loved, well-attended local Festival, share our audiences, and offer something new,” Meredith said. 

“For the first time, we have a designated Festival bar with the Revel Bar, which includes a selection of great food trucks out on Brisbane Powerhouse’s Plaza. We look forward to watching this space come to life throughout the Festival.” 

Jay Neven, Founder and CEO of Revel Brewing Co., said Revel is super excited to be a part of the Festival and get their fresh beers out to the people including Laughing Lager, specially created with the Festival team’s input to design something unique for their audiences. 

“As well as developing the limited-release Laughing Lager, we are excited to deliver the Revel Bar. We look forward to offering a fantastic, streamlined customer experience where visitors to the Festival can get great quality food and beverages quickly, then relax and enjoy before they head into their show for a laugh.
